Boost / International

Operations consultancy  /  United States & Colombia

I turn a vision into a plan, and the plan into a working operation.

Systems are what I am best at. Not just a flowchart nobody opens, but the machinery: who decides what, where information lives, how handoffs work, and what happens when something breaks at six in the morning.

Who I work with

Three kinds of operation

Services

How I work

Operating teardown

Two weeks, fixed fee

The entry point for almost every engagement. I map how work actually moves through the business rather than how the org chart says it does, find every manual step and broken handoff, and hand you a written bottleneck list ranked by what it is costing you. Credited against anything you commission afterward.

Business health dashboard

Six weeks, fixed fee

The five to eight numbers that actually predict whether the business is healthy, instrumented and live. Every metric gets a source, an owner, a refresh schedule, and a threshold that triggers action. Then the weekly rhythm that keeps it alive, because a dashboard nobody reads in a meeting is dead inside ninety days.

Operating hub and SOPs

Four to six weeks, fixed fee

One place where the company lives. Document architecture, naming and ownership, access rules, and the fifteen procedures that carry the most operational risk, written and approved. Then templates and training so your team writes the rest instead of paying me to.

Fractional COO

Monthly retainer

Embedded operating leadership for companies past the point where the owner can hold it all in their head. Operating rhythm, decision rights, hiring, vendor management, and reporting that tells you something. Usually the engagement that follows a build, because someone has to run what got built.

Build and launch

Fixed scope, fixed fee

A venue, an activation, or a new market from zero. Permitting, buildout coordination, hiring, technology stack, and day one operations, through opening and into steady state.

Luxury hospitality activation

Coral Gables, Florida

A 40 day invitation-only activation timed to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Engaged as General Manager through Boost International, with full budget, hiring, and vendor authority. Empty venue to open doors in six weeks, then daily operations through close.

Senior Manager of a high volume unit with full profit and loss ownership. I owned the decisions that set the year: how the budget got built, how labor was modeled against forecast, and who was developed into the next management seat. This is where the operating discipline comes from.

About

Nick Manderfield

I am a bilingual operations executive with twenty years of leadership across hospitality, live events, nonprofit, and cross border ventures. I have built organizations from formation, run them at volume, and carried the profit and loss.

I come in wherever you are. Sometimes the deliverable is the plan and the system design, and I hand it to your team. Sometimes it is building the operation and running it. Sometimes it is walking into a business that already works and finding where the design and the reality stopped matching.

I do not coach. I do not write strategy I will not be there to defend. And I do not take engagements where the owner is not in the room.
